Just because it was postponed a couple of times this year, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still enjoy all the things we love doing during Fiesta. Number one on that list for me (yes even in front of street tacos) is decorating. Fiesta is just an excuse for getting everyone and everything covered in brightly colored materials or even confetti. And what better way to spruce up the old Casa than decorate that front door with some fiesta pride. Check out this beauty I just put together for a neighbor who needed her very tired fiesta wreath updated.
Between enjoying the colorful decorations and enjoying some queso with a margarita or two its going to be hard to not have a good time. Now I just need to hear some “Hey Baby Que Paso?” and find a sausage on a stick and I will be all set!
It almost makes me not miss standing in a massive crowd in a cloud of smoke with beer being spill on me, or enjoying an overcrowded ride in a bus with drunk people who will soon be driving back from the park and ride. Oh well there is always next year for that… 😉
