So this year has been challenging, to put it mildly. On any other year we make sure we celebrate fall and Thanksgiving before we even consider breaking out any Christmas decorations. Well this year we needed something to brighten our spirits. What better way to do it than with a massive splash of color and lights. We didn’t even have leftovers to enjoy before we had the tree put up and more boxes out of the attic than we knew could fit up there. (Seriously we will be consolidating a lot of stuff before it goes back up.) Our winter wreath replaced our fall one on the front of the house, and a couple of orders came in for the big ones. I really like making these larger wreaths. The base wreath itself is 36″ wide but after the initial decoration and then filling out, fluffing, re-arranging and fussing, they usually end up a full 4 feet in diameter. That is a large pallet to work with and has every opportunity to brighten up a persons day. Enjoy these two and have a great holiday season and new year. Here is to hoping everyone’s 2021 is much much much better than their 2020.
